The purpose of this blog is to provide the reader an accounting senior’s perspective about attending school at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The blog will also provide useful information to allow prospective students to use and make a determination into whether pursuing an accounting degree is right for them. Currently, I am a senior in standing and will gradute next year, which gives me plenty of experience to delve into this arena. When I first started college what I thought an accountant does is completely different than what I know now. I’m glad I like what they actually do as much as what I thought they did.
BTW, this blog was created as an assignment for my English 314 “Technical Writing” course.
